Water Decoloring Agent
Liquid organic polymer decolorizing chemical for color removal, COD reduction and flocculation improvement in difficult industrial wastewater treatment systems.
BLUWAT BWD-01 Water Decoloring Agent is a liquid organic polymer decolorizing chemical used for high color industrial wastewater treatment.
It is based on dicyandiamide formaldehyde resin and is widely used for color removal, COD reduction and flocculation improvement in difficult wastewater treatment systems.
BWD-01 is suitable for textile dyeing wastewater, printing ink wastewater, pigment wastewater, dyestuff wastewater, paper mill wastewater and other high color industrial effluent.
With strong cationic charge and good water solubility, BWD-01 can help destabilize color-causing substances and improve solid-liquid separation when used together with PAC and anionic PAM.
High color industrial wastewater often contains dissolved dyes, pigments, organic color bodies, colloidal particles and fine suspended solids.
These pollutants are difficult to remove by simple sedimentation because they are stable in water and may carry negative surface charges.
If the treatment process only uses common inorganic coagulants, the result may be unstable.
For this type of wastewater, a targeted organic decolorizing agent is often needed to improve treatment performance.
BWD-01 provides an effective solution for high color wastewater treatment.
When added into wastewater under suitable pH conditions, BWD-01 provides cationic charges that neutralize negatively charged dye molecules and colloidal impurities.
The destabilized color substances can then be captured by hydrolyzed flocs and separated from water through coagulation, flocculation and sedimentation.
For better performance, BWD-01 is usually used with PAC and anionic PAM. PAC supports coagulation, BWD-01 improves decolorization, and PAM helps form larger and stronger flocs.

BWD-01 is mainly used for high color industrial wastewater treatment.
BWD-01 can be used before or after biological treatment depending on the wastewater condition and treatment process.
It is especially useful when the treatment target is color removal, COD reduction and better flocculation performance.
BWD-01 works through charge neutralization, adsorption and floc formation.
The cationic polymer neutralizes negatively charged dye molecules and colloidal particles.
Color-causing substances become unstable and begin to form small flocs.
PAC and PAM help strengthen the coagulation and flocculation process, forming larger and denser flocs.
Finally, the formed flocs settle down and can be separated from treated water. This process helps improve water clarity, reduce color and support COD reduction in suitable wastewater conditions.
Choose BWD-01 if your wastewater has strong color, dye residue, pigment particles or organic color bodies.
For textile dyeing wastewater and printing ink wastewater, BWD-01 is suitable when color removal is the main treatment target.
For paper mill wastewater or pigment wastewater, BWD-01 can help improve coagulation and reduce color in the treated effluent.
For wastewater with only suspended solids but low color, PAC or PAM may be more important than BWD-01.
For complex wastewater with both color and COD problems, a combined process of PAC, BWD-01 and anionic PAM is usually recommended.
Before bulk use, jar testing is recommended to confirm dosage, pH range and treatment sequence.
BWD-01 is used for color removal, COD reduction and flocculation improvement in high color industrial wastewater. It is commonly used in textile dyeing, printing ink, pigment, dyestuff and paper mill wastewater treatment.
The CAS number of BWD-01 Water Decoloring Agent is 55295-98-2.
The recommended wastewater pH is 8-10 before dosing. If the pH is too high or too low, the decolorization performance may decrease.
Yes. In many wastewater treatment systems, BWD-01 works better when used with PAC and anionic PAM. PAC helps coagulation, BWD-01 removes color, and PAM helps form larger flocs for sedimentation.
BWD-01 can help reduce COD in suitable wastewater conditions, especially when COD is related to soluble color bodies or organic dye compounds. The actual COD reduction depends on wastewater quality, dosage, pH and treatment process.
BWD-01 should be stored at room temperature and protected from direct sunlight. Slight stratification or white appearance may occur at low temperature, so room temperature storage is recommended.
